Let us come before the Lord in prayer and ask for His help as we look at His Word.

Father, we just ask now again that You would help us to understand what Your Word teaches and that You give us the strength to obey it, to do it, to love Your law. Help us, Lord God, we pray with our struggles to understand and with our struggles to obey, and give us strength, Lord God, to not reject the truth of Scripture but to receive it as it is indeed the Word of truth.
